Protests

Integrating Central High was not an easy task. There were mobs of people protesting, as shown in this picture, at the high school. I had to deal with all of this hatred and negativity everyday I was at the school. It wasn't a one-day protest. It happened for months on end and we had to deal with it, even if it turned violent.
