I believe that this film is one of the saddest of all the stories involving our movement. However, I also suggest that we don't dwell on this film and its sorrow. Rather, let us this treat this film as a reminder to our people that we cannot simply let these events pass without retaliation. Let us raise awareness, raise eyebrows and raise HELL! There's no need for us to act senselessly but we could stop worrying about the righteousness followed along with peace and start considering the victory that could result in war.
There was many sad events during the Civil Rights movement. This film shows one of them. The bombing sadly took the lives of four little girls but it brought us closer to racial equality.

The film was sad.
This film really touched my heart, because the people who were killed were actually children ranging from eleven years old to fourteen. Being fourteen myself, I know personally how they must have felt and how the families must have had to cope with the loss. These little girls had done nothing to deserve what happened to them, which is why I think it bothers me so much that these things have to happen because it's always to the innocent ones who don't deserve it.

The film was extremely emotional and really touched my heart as did many other things that took place during the Civil Rights Movement. It was very sad and disturbing because they were children, but I can not place full blame on the white attackers. More African Americans should have stepped up and joined the cause of the Civil Rights Movement. Many were too worried about losing there jobs and this film shows what the outcome was. May those four little girls rest in peace along with the other children who lost there lives during the movement but let this also open the eyes of others and raise awareness to all people, everywhere.
Dr. King what was your part in the event?
The film hurt ; demonstrating just how low the human race could go.
Personally, I thought the film was a moving remembrance of their lives and their deaths. I was 15 years old when the church was bombed and I can still remember hearing about it. This documentary delves even more into the tragedy than the news ever could by showing the grief that the families of these girls shared. I've worked tirelessly to attain the goal of equality for all people and the story of these four, innocent African American girls whose lives were stolen from them at such a young age reinforces my resolve. Nobody, especially not these children, should be abused or looked down upon because of their race, gender, or any other superficial characteristic that's out of their control.
This film was emotionally moving due to the tragedy and senselessness of it all. It serves as a cruel reminder of what we people have been waiting for. I do not encourage violence to get what we want. No, I encourage change, just as we have been working towards. To fight back, would only fuel the fire between these two races. By being "the change we wish to see", as Gandhi has said, we pave the road for progress. These little girls should encourage us to continue on the right path. They show that violence only causes heartbreak and unbearable pain. To have let these little girls die in vain would be wrong, so let us continue the fight for equality!

I think these girls are true heroes to the Civil Rights movement. The murder of any innocent is wrong enough but the death of innocent children is cruel and disturbing. These girls never even had a chance to begin living their lives. After watching this I am grateful I got to live the life I did before my death. Hopefully this film will serve and a painful reminder as to what happened in our country's past and prevent future conflict. This is a disgusting embarrassment to our country and is the reason why I, as a white person, decided to join the NAACP. Senseless actions such as this only further retaliation and increase the rage and hate everyone is feeling and sparks further turmoil.
The way people acted was insane to do things like this. I could image how the family of the girls felt and what the people of the church did too. At the same time i appreciate Spike Lee for making this film so other people could feel the pain and realize this commotion of the color of your skin is foolish.
